Description
Viking Age. (800-1050 AD).
The original, found in 1979 at York (Jorvik) in England, was cast in base silver. The brooch has a central boss with cross surrounded by smaller bosses. Concentric ribs imitate similar brooches of the Viking period which were made from twisted thread.
Also available as pendant.
Width: 36 mm.
Individually numbered and hallmarked. A booklet detailing the age and the place of origin of the original is included.
