Description
Viking Age (800-1050 AD).
Miniature sword found at Terslev, near Ringsted on Sjaellland. Througout antiquity it was a custom to give the Aesir – the Gods - only the best offerings, in the hope of receiving favour and fortune in return. Jewelry and weapons were therefore placed in graves, and as weapons were passed on from Father to Son, as were tokens such as this.
An ideal gift idea for Him.
Individually numbered and hallmarked. A booklet detailing the age and the place of origin of the original is included.
