Pre-Viking Age (1500-800 BC).
Fastening pin discovered at Fåborg, Denmark. Unique with a distinctive woman's head motif, it is thought to have been worn by a high-ranking Viking female, possibly the wife of a chieftain. The original is currently on display at the Funen Museum, Odense, Denmark.
